Gents to host four summer camps
SHREVEPORT – The Centenary men’s basketball program will host four camps this summer in the Gold Dome, ranging from ages 5 all the way to seniors in high school.
The camps will start with the high school boy's camp June 8-9. The Gents will host a camp for boys entering grades 9-12 in the approaching school year. The High school Skills Camp is $50 and lasts from 5-8 p.m. June 8 and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. June 9.
Head coach Adam Walsh and assistant coach Justin LeBlanc will put on the Day Camp June 11-14 for ages 5-13. The four-day camp is $175 and will start at 9 a.m. each day, wrapping up at 4 p.m. the first three days and 1 p.m. the final day. Registration will be at 8 a.m. on June 11.
“We’re really excited about these camps and would love to see a great turnout,” Walsh said. “We really love teaching the game of basketball and it’s always such a joy to see kids out here and we expect it to be a great summer.”
Skills Camp,
the second camp, will be a week later, June 18-21, and is $100. The Skills Camps
will be from 1-4 p.m. with noon registration June 18. The second Skills Camp of the summer, both for ages 5-13, is slated for July 16-18 for $75, lasting from 9 a.m.-noon
with an 8 a.m. registration on July 16. The second Skills Camp will be the last camp of the summer.
