LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Seniors Adam Ghaemmaghami and Robbie Ramirez have been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference’s Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, by the league office Monday afternoon.

Ghaemmaghami netted three goals last week, including the game-winner against No. 22 Colorado College. That gave Centenary its first-ever SCAC win in school and program history.

Ramirez collected 14 saves, helping the Gents finish the week at 3-0 and 2-0 in SCAC play. Ramirez made a key diving save in the Gents 1-0 win over Colorado College, deflecting a penalty kick to preserve the precious one-goal lead.

Ghaemmaghami picked up an assist in the Gents 3-0 win over Texas College, tallying seven points in his last three matches.

The Gents host Louisiana College Tuesday night at 7 p.m. to wrap up home play and the regular season.
