BOSSIER CITY – The Centenary women’s basketball team participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Saturday morning, helping raise breast cancer awareness. "We had a great time participating in The Race for the Cure. This was a fun and easy way for our team to help support a great organization." The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is the world’s largest and most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer ever created. Last year, more than 1.6 million people participated and more than 100,000 volunteered. The race made its debut in 1983 in Dallas, Texas with 800 runners. |
