SHREVEPORT – The Centenary women’s basketball team took some time away from the court Thursday afternoon to volunteer at the First Baptist Church Fall Carnival.

This is the fourth year in a row that the Ladies have participated in the event, helping with carnival games and selling cookies and other Halloween treats.

“We really enjoy taking time to be active in the community, and the FBC Fall Carnival is definitely a fun event for the players to help work,” head coach Kristen Davis said.

The Ladies return to the court Friday for practice and will continue preparing for their upcoming exhibition game at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette on Nov 3.
