SHREVEPORT - The Centenary Ladies snapped their six-match skid Tuesday afternoon with a 1-0 non-conference win against Texas College. The Ladies improved to 4-6-1. Texas College dropped to 2-14 on the season. Centenary continues its four-match home stand hosting University of Dallas Oct. 28 at 3 p.m. The Ladies offense was in control most of this game, as the Ladies fired 28 shot attempts. Two goals were called off, but a goal at the end of the first half by Justine Russell was all the Ladies needed. Russell netted a 30 yard goal at the 44:34 mark to put the Ladies up 1-0 at the half. That was one of her two shot attempts, while Amanda Atwell, Carly Slovensky, and Madison Alexander had six shots each. Goalie Brittany Dunn collected three saves on the day.
