Ladies and Gents Swimming Announces 2018-19 Schedule
SHREVEPORT, La. – The Centenary Ladies and Gents Swimming teams, under the direction of 18th year head coach Butch Jordan, announced the 2018-19 schedule. The schedule features four home meets, the most since the 2014-15 season.

"This looks to be an exciting year for Ladies and Gents Swimming," said Jordan. "Our schedule not only has most of the traditional invitationals and dual meet opponents, we also finally get to compete with Colorado College during the regular season. Normally, we only see the Tigers at the Conference Championships."
"Also, the SCAC Championships will be moving to San Antonio at the Palo Alto facility. It is a great pool and the folks at Palo Alto are really rolling out the red carpet for us," added Jordan.
The Centenary Swimming teams kick off their season September 22 with the annual Intrasquad and Alumni Meet. After nearly a month off, the Ladies and Gents welcome Southern Collegiate Athletic foe Colorado College for dual meets both October 19 and 20. The meet on the 20th will be a double dual with Hendrix also visiting Shreveport.
November 2-3 will be the annual Hendrix Relays and Hendrix Classic. The Ladies and Gents also travel to Conway, Arkansas, for the Hendrix Invite November 30-December 1.
Centenary Swimming will face fellow SCAC member Southwestern November 10 at 11 a.m. to kick off a busy Homecoming Saturday. Both the Ladies and Gents basketball teams play the same afternoon in the Gold Dome.
The new year begins with the annual Austin College Invite January 5 in Sherman, Texas. Centenary will celebrate Senior Day against Austin College the following Saturday in Shreveport.
The Ladies and Gents wrap up the 2018-19 season at the annual SCAC Championships February 13-16 in San Antonio, Texas.
