2018 Junior Season: Appeared in the circle for 11 games with four starts and 16.1 innings pitched… Went a season long 3.2 innings in a 11-10 win against Westminster February 17… Named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Scholar’s List.

Prior to Centenary: Comes to Centenary after playing at Hinds Community College for two seasons and was named the May 2016 Athlete of the Month and Academic All-State in 2017... Prior to Hinds, pitched for head coach Anthony Mullins at North Webster HS... With the Knights, was named All-Area all four seasons by the Shreveport Times – and receiving All-State recognition by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) three times and Louisiana High School Coaches Association All-State honors twice... Also received All-Area Pitcher of the Year her freshman and sophomore seasons of high school.

Personal Born September 10... Daughter of Kristy and Jeff Nix and has two brothers, Jacey and Noah... Majoring in history.

51 Ladies and Gents Named to SCAC Honor Roll

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - On Wednesday, June 19, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference offices announced that 51 Ladies and Gents student-athletes were named to the conference’s Spring Honor Roll following the 2019 spring semester. The number represents an increase of 16 spring student-athletes from the 2018 spring semester.

SHREVEPORT, La. – It looked as if Ladies Softball’s season might end early Saturday afternoon and then early evening, but they clawed back twice for come-from-behind wins before losing the nightcap in an extra-inning heartbreaker as Centenary (18-23) finished third in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Tournament for the third time in the last four seasons.
