Shreveport – The final weekend of the regular season is upon us for baseball and softball, lacrosse finishes its season, STUNT competes at nationals, and men's and women's track & field competes in the SCAC Championships … So, yet another busy weekend is on tap in the world of Centenary Athletics!
Baseball faces the University of the Ozarks Eagles at home to conclude its regular season as the Diamond Gents are fighting to qualify for the upcoming SCAC Tournament.

The Diamond Gents (18-19, 13-14 SCAC) and Eagles (12-25, 6-21 SCAC) begin the series on Thursday at 7 PM at Shehee Stadium. Game two is tentatively scheduled for NOON on Friday and game three at 1 PM on Saturday. Friday and Saturday's start times could be changed due to weather.
The Diamond Gents are currently in a three-way tie for seventh place in the conference standings and are fighting for a berth into the SCAC Tournament set for April 30-May 3 in Cleburne, Texas. The double-elimination tournament will feature six teams.

Softball will finish its regular season on the road this weekend with a three-game set against Ozarks (18-19, 11-16 SCAC) in Clarksville, Ark. The series begins with a DH on Friday at 4 PM and concludes on Saturday with a single game at NOON.
Centenary was swept last weekend by the nationally-ranked University of St. Thomas Celts in Houston and aims to snap a four-game losing streak this weekend.
The Ladies (16-19, 14-13 SCAC) are currently in fourth place in the conference standings while the Eagles (18-19, 11-16 SCAC) are fifth. Centenary has clinched a spot in the upcoming SCAC Tournament to be held May 1-3 in Abilene, Texas. Centenary has now made 10-consecutive SCAC Tournament appearances.
Lacrosse
The Gents (10-3) will finish their season on Saturday at Colorado College (11-2). Centenary was last in action at home on April 11 when the Maroon and White fell 26-6 to Rhodes College in its home finale at Atkins Field.
STUNT
The Ladies will compete in the 2026 College STUNT National Championships on Thursday at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn.
The Ladies, who earned the No. 6 seed, will face No. 3 seed Saint Mary's College (Ind.) on Thursday at 2:30 PM.

Men's and Women's Track & Field
The Ladies and Gents will compete in the 2026 SCAC Championships this weekend in Abilene, Texas. The meet, hosted by McMurry, will begin on Friday and conclude on Sunday at Wilford Moore Stadium. The Ladies finished eighth at last season's event while the Gents finished 12th in Seguin, Texas.
