The Gents (6-5-1, 2-3 SCAC) and Tornados (5-4-3, 2-3 SCAC) will meet for just the third time and first since the 2015 season when Concordia recorded a 3-1 win. Centenary and Concordia are in a three-way tie along with Ozarks for seventh place in the conference standings as both teams are aiming to get into the top four to qualify for the 2024 SCAC Tournament next month.
Centenary recorded an impressive 3-1 comeback victory over the University of Dallas Crusaders on Sunday afternoon in SCAC action in Irving, Texas as the Maroon and White shook off a 4-2 loss at Austin College last Friday to improve to 2-3 on the road this season. The Tornados, an impressive 3-0-2 on the road this season, have lost three matches in a row and fell 3-1 at home on Sunday to the University of St. Thomas.
The Gents enter Friday's action as one of the top offensive teams in the conference as they rank in the top five in assists, goals, points, and shots and have outscored their opponents 27-14. Centenary has tallied 23 assists and 12 players have recorded at least one assist this season while 12 have scored at least one goal. Eight Gents have scored two or more goals led by five from freshman F Nathan Uduojie (Houston, Texas) who also has two assists is tied for seventh in the conference in goals and his team-high 12 points are ninth in the conference.

The rookie has made 11 starts, owns one shutout, and made a season-high 16 saves at Colorado College on Oct. 6, finishing one save shy of the division III era (2011-present) single-match record of 17.
Lutin, named the SCAC Men's Soccer Co-Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 1, is tied for 53rd in the country in saves, is 46th in saves per game at 5.55, and 68th in save percentage at .813. Lutin's 16 saves are the most in a match by a SCAC player all season.
Centenary's offense came alive in the second half on Sunday against Dallas after the Crusaders held a 1-0 lead at halftime. The Gents found the net three times to record the road victory as sophomore D Hayden McConnell (Flower Mound, Texas) tied the match just seconds into the second half, scoring his first-career goal at the 45:49 mark with the assist from Booth. Uduojie then put the Gents ahead 2-1 at the 62:16 mark with Huskey Jr. assisting on the goal. Amato scored a late goal for the Gents to make it 3-1 with 83:14 on the clock and was assisted by Masti.
