2017 Freshman Season (Soccer): Did not play.

Prior to Centenary: Played both volleyball for head coach Alyssa Gerbich and soccer for head coach Vickie Manies at Cypress Springs High School... For volleyball, named Second Team All-District in 2016 and Honorable Mention All-District in 2015... Finished 11th in the district for digs in 2014... Named Team MVP in 2016, Most Improved Athlete in 2013 and 2014, and Most Coachable in 2013... One of 50 athletes selected in Texas to compete in an Under Armor event, which was run by college coaches... In volleyball, was named Academic All-District from 2013-2016... In soccer, was named team MVP in 2014... Academically in soccer, she was named Academic All-District from 2014-17 and Academic All-State in 2017.

Personal: Full name is Amilia Marie Powers and was born in Springfield, Ohio... Birthdate is June 19... Daughter of Emilee and Andrew Powers and has two sisters, Sophia and Isabella... At Centenary, majoring in mathematics.

Ladies Volleyball Aces Its Way to Doubleheader Sweep of Mississippi University for Women

SHREVEPORT, La. – The Ladies used 26 aces on the day en route to taking all six sets from the Owls as Centenary (11-11) swept Mississippi University for Women (2-18) in a pair of matches Saturday afternoon, October 6. The Ladies won match one 25-9, 25-12, 25-8 and took the second match 25-10, 25-11, 25-10.
