Sanders Named To CoSIDA Academic All‐America At‐Large Team
Centenary senior gymnast Kendall Sanders has been named to the 2021-22 CoSIDA Academic All‐America® At‐Large Team, earning a spot on the first team, the organization announced on Wednesday.
Austin, Texas – Centenary senior gymnast Kendall Sanders has been named to the 2021-22 CoSIDA Academic All‐America® At‐Large Team, earning a spot on the first team, the organization announced on Wednesday.
Sanders (Spring Branch, Texas) is a pre-med major with a perfect 4.0 grade point average and was previously named to the 2021‐22 Academic All‐District® Women's At‐Large Team last month. Sanders was one of just 16 student-athletes across the country in division III to be named to the first team and one of only 46 in total to earn this prestigious and exclusive honor.
The Division III Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2021-22 Division III Academic All-America® program.
Fifteen of the 45 members of the Academic All-America® Division III women's at-large teams boast a perfect 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate work or graduate school. The 16 members of the first team have an average GPA of 3.95, with the entire women's team holding a collective average GPA of 3.89.
