Senior first baseman Lauren Trott of Austin College had a massive week at the plate to help the 'Roos earn a series win over Schreiner. Trott batted .600 (6-for-10) with a .667 on-base percentage and a .700 slugging percentage, collecting two hits in each game and adding three RBI and a run scored with a double in the series. Junior first baseman Kylie Kirk of Concordia (Tex.) led the Tornados to a 3-0 weekend over Ozarks with a dominant performance at the plate, hitting .455 (5-for-11) with three home runs and five RBI. Kirk delivered one of the top performances of the week in game two, going 3-for-4 with three home runs and five RBI to power a 9-2 victory. She also reset the program's record books for career RBI (129) and the single-season record with 47 RBI so far this season. Senior outfielder Abby Lasley of Dallas turned in a dominant week at the plate, hitting .700 (7-for-10) across three games with a .700 on-base percentage and .800 slugging percentage while driving in three runs. She did not strike out in 11 plate appearances, showcasing elite contact and consistency that made her one of the most impactful hitters of the week for the Crusaders. Senior utility player Maddie Flanery of LeTourneau batted .636 (7-for-11) with one home run, one triple, three RBI, eight runs scored, and seven stolen bases in a sweep of Dallas. She went 3-for-4 with four runs, two RBI, one triple, and three steals in a 10-9 game one victory. In game two, Flanery was again 3-for-4 with three runs and three steals. Flanery then hit an inside-the-park home run and was 1-for-3 with stolen base in an 8-0 win in the series finale. Senior utility Serena Gonzalez of Texas Lutheran was outstanding at the plate in leading the Bulldogs to a series sweep over Hendrix at home over the weekend. Gonzalez hit .571, going 4-for-7 with a grand slam, two doubles, seven RBI, one run scored and two walks to post a blistering .700 on-base percentage. Gonzalez finished the series with nine total bases and posted a 1.286 slugging percentage .
