The Ladies and the rest of the field are being challenged by a par 71, 6,009-yard course with the final 18 holes schedule for Tuesday. The Ladies and host Cowgirls are joined by Concordia University, East Texas Baptist University, Howard Payne University, McMurry University, Schreiner University, Southwestern University, and Texas Lutheran University.
Southwestern is the round one leader at 35-over 319 and leads Hardin-Simmons by 10 shots (+45 - 329). Sydney Jackson of Southwestern and Madisyn Davis of ETBU share the individual lead at 6-over par 77.
Freshman Gracie Evans (Lake Charles, La.) and sophomore Haylee Crowder (Haughton, La.) lead the way for the Ladies after each shot a 17-over par 87 on Monday to tie for 26th place. Sophomore Amber Shaw (Hughes Springs, Texas) is in 35th place after posting a 23-over 93, junior Jordyn Templeton (Columbus, Texas) is in 40th place (25-over 96) and junior Mya Thompson (South Jordan, Utah) shot a 29-over par 100.
