Women's Golf Back In Action At Linda Lowery Invitational
The Centenary women's golf team is back on the course this week as the Ladies will compete in the Linda Lowery Invitational hosted by Concordia University at the Teravista Golf Club.
Round Rock, Texas – The Centenary women's golf team is back on the course this week as the Ladies will compete in the Linda Lowery Invitational hosted by Concordia University at the Teravista Golf Club.

Round one begins on Monday with a shotgun start at 8:30 AM and the field will be challenged by the par 72, 5850-yard course. The tournament concludes with the final 18 holes on Tuesday at 8:30 AM.
The Ladies and host Tornados will be joined in the field by East Texas Baptist University, Hendrix College, Howard Payne University, LeTourneau University, McMurry University, Schreiner University, and the University of St. Thomas.
Centenary recorded a fourth-place finish in its annual home tournament, the Hal Sutton Invitational, last Tuesday at The Golf Club at Stonebridge in Bossier City. The Ladies finished fourth (130-over par 704) and were led by sophomore Amber Shaw (Hughes Springs, Texas) who finished eighth at 24-over par 168 as she recorded her first-career top-10 finish. Shaw was named the SCAC Women's Golfer of the Week on Wednesday after her impressive performance.
Sophomore Haylee Crowder (Haughton, La.) finished 21st after shooting a 34-over par 178 (93-85) and freshman Gracie Evans (Lake Charles, La.) finished 24th at 38-over 182 (97-85). Junior Mya Thompson (South Jordan, Utah) shot a 45-over 189 (86-103) to finish 28th and junior Jordyn Templeton (Columbus, Texas) was right behind her in 29th place at 47-over par 191 (99-92). Freshman Zoe Garcia (Magnolia, Texas) finished 36th after shooting an 87-over 231 (114-117).
