Women's Golf Fifth Headed To Final Round Of SCAC Championships

The Ladies, who opened with a 53-over par 341 in Sunday's opening round, are at 101-over par 677 for the tournament. The third and final round is set for Tuesday.
The University of Dallas is the designated host school for the event. Centenary is joined by the host Crusaders, Concordia University, Hendrix College, LeTourneau University, McMurry University, Schreiner University, Texas Lutheran University, and the University of St. Thomas. The field is being tested by a par-72, 6,040-yard course.
LeTourneau is atop the leaderboard at 45-over par 621 (311-310) and leads second-place St. Thomas by 19 shots (64-over par 640 – 325-315). Kinley Pessel of LETU holds the individual lead at 5-over par 149 and she is two shots ahead of Leah Torres of UST (7-over par 151).
Sophomore Haylee Crowder (Haughton, La.) is in 10th place at 16-over par 160 as she shot a 10-over par 82 on Monday after a 6-over 78 in Sunday's opening round. Freshman Gracie Evans (Lake Charles, La.) is 17 that 23-over 167 (84-83), junior Mya Thompson (South Jordan, Utah) is 24th at 29-over 173 (87-86), sophomore Amber Shaw (Hughes Springs, Texas) is in 30th place at 33-over par 177 (92-85), and junior Jordyn Templeton (Columbus, Texas) is in 43rd place at 56-over par 200 after shooting identical 28-over par 100 both days.
