The Ladies open their season in the McNeese State University Tournament on Sunday, Feb. 1 in Lake Charles, La. where they will face the host Cowgirls at 10:15 AM, Texas Woman's University at 12:15 PM and Texas A&M University - Kingsville at 1:15 PM.
At the 2026 NCAA Convention earlier this month, all three divisions voted to approve stunt becoming an NCAA championship sport, with its first NCAA championship projected for spring 2027.
Centenary finished eighth in the country out of 13 teams last season as the first and only NCAA Varsity STUNT team in the state of Louisiana. As the only DIII team in the south, the Ladies were forced to play cross divisional the entire 2025 season.
Centenary will welcome Muskingum University and McNeese to the Gold Dome on Sunday, Feb. 8 as the Ladies will make their home debut as a program with the matches set for 10 AM and 1 PM.
"Division III is a tough playing field in STUNT, said head coach Kaylee King. Being ranked eighth of 16 is a great place to be to start the season. It is where we ended our inaugural season last year, when there were 13 teams in our division, so I look forward to seeing where our team lands once the three new teams in Division III start playing and become ranked.
"Last year, we played all teams out of division as well, and this year, we are playing mostly like teams, so I look forward to how that helps our overall rankings."
The Ladies will finish their season in the Warrior Invitational held in East Stroudsburg, Pa. Feb. 21-22.
