Ladies Blanked At TLU On Friday, 5-0

Seguin, Texas - The Centenary women's soccer team fell 5-0 to the Texas Lutheran University Bulldogs in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match on Friday at Gustafson Field.
The Ladies (1-12-3, 0-6-2 SCAC) were behind just 1-0 at halftime to the Bulldogs (10-3-2, 7-0-1 SCAC) but allowed four second-half goals to fall to 0-5 on the road this season and were shutout for the 10th time. TLU improved to 5-0-1 at home this season and maintained its spot atop the conference standings.
Freshman GK Gracie Rellin (Haughton, La.) started in goal for the Ladies and played the first 51:07 before being subbed out for freshman GK Morgan Stancliff (Pensacola, Fla.). Rellin allowed three goals and made six saves in 51:07 and Stancliff tallied four saves and allowed a pair of goals in her 38:53.
The Bulldogs' high-powered offense entered the match leading the conference in assists, goals, and points and scored all four second-half goals in a span of just eight minutes and the final three in under four minutes.
Callie Brame started the scoring in the 11th minute to make it 1-0 and was assisted by both Klarissa Martinez & Alyssa Ibanez. Aliyah Fonseca scored in the 48th minute, assisted by Caitlin Roach, for a 2-0 lead and Lilly Noblett found the net in the 52nd minute for a 3-0 lead with the assist credited to Ashlyn Suarez.
Natalia Cortez then scored an unassisted goal at the 53:03 mark to make it 4-0 and just over a minute later, Martinez scored and was asissted by Brame to cap the scoring and make it 5-0. The Bulldogs played two goalkeepers as Skylar LeBlanc started and made four saves in her 45 minutes and was replaced by Alexis Morrison who played the second half and recorded two saves.
The Bulldogs finished with a decisive advantage in shots (34-6) and took six corner kicks to the Ladies' three.
The Ladies will wrap up the weekend with their home finale on Sunday versus Concordia University at NOON.
