CHICAGO, Ill.-The Centenary women's gymnastics team tallied four top-three finishes, but fell as a team 192.110-187.725 to University of Illinois-Chicago on Friday evening.
Centenary was led by Floor competitors senior Whitney Daugherty and sophomore Melody Smith with a 9.725 and a first-place tie.
Leading the way on the Vault for the Ladies was freshman Amanda Holt with a 9.725 and a third place finish.
Junior Makensie Lant finished fifth on the Bars with a score of 9.600 for Centenary's best Bar routine, while junior Marisa Schneider captured second on the Beam with a 9.650.
Schneider was the only Centenary All-Around performer as she placed fourth with a total score of 37.400.
Centenary will travel to SEMO on March 12 for a 7:00 pm competition.
