The Centenary women's golf team is in 10th place after shooting a 92-over par 380 on Monday in round one of the Schreiner Women's Shootout as the Ladies opened their spring season at The Club at Comanche Trace.
Kerrville, Texas – The Centenary women's golf team is in 10th place after shooting a 92-over par 380 on Monday in round one of the Schreiner Women's Shootout as the Ladies opened their spring season at The Club at Comanche Trace.

The Ladies are joined this week by the host Mountaineers, California Lutheran University, Concordia University, Hardin-Simmons University, McMurry University, Odessa College, the University of Houston-Victoria, the University of St. Thomas, Southwestern University, Our Lady of the Lake University, and Whitworth University. The final round begins on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. at the par-72, 6,218-yard course.
Odessa College is the team leader at 15-over par and leads Cal Lutheran (+31) by 16 shots. Odessa's Chloe De Verner (+1 – 73) leads St. Thomas' Leah Torres (+2 – 74) by one shot for the individual lead).
Freshman Amber Shaw (Hughes Springs, Texas) led the way for the Ladies on Monday as she shot a 19-over par 91 and is tied for 48th place while sophomore Jordyn Templeton (Columbus, Texas) is 54th after shooting a 22-over 94, sophomore Mya Thompson (South Jordan, Utah) shot a 23-over 95 and is 57th, and freshman Haylee Crowder (Haughton, La.) shot a 28-over 100 and is in 61st place.
