Lacrosse Selected as "Team of the Week"
The Centenary lacrosse team has been selected as Centenary Athletics' "Team of the Week" after the Gents recorded a 28-1 victory over Spalding University on March 14, their largest margin of victory in program history on Senior Day.
Shreveport – The Centenary lacrosse team has been selected as Centenary Athletics' "Team of the Week" after the Gents recorded a 28-1 victory over Spalding University on March 14, their largest margin of victory in program history on Senior Day.
The Gents (9-1) have now scored a whopping 214 goals this season, at least 13 in nine of 10 games and 20 or more seven times. Centenary has led the country in nearly all offensive categories this season and entered play last weekend first in goals scored, assists, points, and Face-Off Winning % and were top 12 in in clearing % and ground balls.
The Gents will face Trine University in Angola, Ind. on Friday at 5 PM and Hanover College in Hanover, Ind. on Saturday at 1 PM.
