Snell Leads Way For Gents With Another Top-Five Finish
The Centenary men's golf team shot a 40-over par 616 to finish in a tie for sixth place in the Belhaven Invitational on Tuesday at The Refuge Golf Club.
Flowood, Miss. – The Centenary men's golf team shot a 40-over par 616 to finish in a tie for sixth place in the Belhaven Invitational on Tuesday at The Refuge Golf Club.
The Gents shot a 26-over 314 in Tuesday's final round following a 14-over par 302 on Monday in round one which was good for third place.

Texas Lutheran University won the team title after shooting an 8-over par 584 (295-289) to finish 15 shots ahead of second-place Hinds Community College (23-over 599) after the Eagles shot rounds of 296-303. McMurry University finished third 29-over 605), and Millsaps College was fourth at 30-over par 606.
The host Blazers shot a 36-over 612, just ahead of the Gents and Jackson State University. Belhaven's "B" team finished eighth (636), Andrew College (Ga.) placed ninth (643), Covenant College (Ga.) finished 10th (649), and Millsaps' "B" squad finished 11th (670).
TLU's Brandon Munson and his teammate Cooper Hollomon tied for the individual lead at 3-under par 141 and Chase Allison of McMurry finished one shot behind the leaders at 2-under 142. Stephen Faucheaux of Hinds finished fourth at 1-over par 145.
Junior Aubrey Snell (Shreveport, La.) led the way for the Gents as he finished fifth at 2-over par 146 (75-71) and was named to the All-Tournament Team. Snell, who tied for third place at the 2025 SCAC Preview earlier this month, now has seven top-five finishes in his career.
Senior Hahn Bridges (Sterlington, La.) tied for 25th place at 13-over 157 (75-82), freshman Mason Wiener (Holland, Pa.) shot a 15-over 159 (76-83) to finish in a tie for 30th place, and senior Jeffrey Borchert (Katy, Texas) shot a 16-over 160 (76-84) to tie for 37th place.
Freshman Trey Bishop (Oklahoma City, Okla.) finished tied for 55th place at 28-over 172 after following a first-round 22-over 94 with a 6-over 78 on Tuesday. Senior Parker Christensen (Castle Rock, Colo.) played as an individual and shot a 58-over 202 (100-102).
