The Gents, who opened with a 26-over par 314 in Sunday's opening round, are at 47-over par 623 for the tournament. The third and final round is set for Tuesday. The University of Dallas is the designated host school for the event. Centenary is joined by the host Crusaders, Concordia University, Hendrix College, LeTourneau University, McMurry University, Schreiner University, Texas Lutheran University, and the University of St. Thomas. The field is being tested by a par-72, 6,898-yard course.
LeTourneau is the team leader at 1-over par 577 (292-285) and leads Dallas by three shots entering the final round. The Crusaders are at 4-over par 580. Oliver Naumann of Hendrix is the individual leader at 3-under par 141 and leads Iain Griggs of Dallas (2-under par 142) by one shot. Van Miller of TLU is third at 1-under par 143.
Junior Aubrey Snell (Shreveport, La.) and senior Jeffrey Borchert (Katy, Texas) are tied for 19th place at 5-over par 149. Snell shot a 1-under par 71 on Monday following a 6-over 78 on Sunday. Borchert, who shot a 2-over 74 on Sunday, carded a 3-over 75 on Monday.
Freshman Trey Bishop (Oklahoma City, Okla.) is tied for 38th place at 11-over par 155 as he shot a 4-over 76 on Monday preceded by a 7-over 79 in round one. Freshman Mason Wiener (Holland, Pa.) is 44th at 26-over 170 (83-87) and senior Colton Mayer (Heath, Texas) is in 45th place at 29-over par 173 (86-87).
