Men's Golf Finishes Ninth At SCAC Championships
The Centenary men's golf team shot 54-over par 774 to finish ninth in the 2026 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Tuesday at Hawks Creek Golf Club.
Westworth Village, Texas - The Centenary men's golf team shot 54-over par 774 to finish ninth in the 2026 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Tuesday at Hawks Creek Golf Club.
The final round was shortened to nine holes due to rain. LeTourneau won the team title at 4-under par 716 to finish 12 shots ahead of Texas Lutheran University. Oliver Naumann of Hendrix claimed the individual title as he shot a 2-under par 178 to edge a trio of golfers that finished at 1-under par 179 (Iain Griggs of Dallas, Rafael Torres of the University of St. Thomas, and Cooper Hollomon of TLU).

Senior Jeffrey Borchert (Katy, Texas) shot a 6-over par 186 to tie for 19th place and lead the Gents. Junior Aubrey Snell (Shreveport, La.) earned a top-25 finish as he shot an 8-over 188 to tie for 23rd.
