Men's Golf Sixth Entering Final Round At West Region Invitational
The Centenary men's golf team shot a 56-over par 632 on Monday in the West Region Invitational as the Gents are in sixth place after two rounds at White Bluff Golf Resort.

Centenary and the rest of the field are being challenged by a par 72, 6,866-yard layout and will play the final 18 holes on Tuesday at 8 AM. Southwestern University is the designated tournament host and is in third place after shooting a 38-over par 614 (309-305).
The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and Trinity University are tied for the team lead at 12-over par 588, the University of Dallas is fourth (40-over par 616) and Hardin-Simmons University is in fifth place (45-over 621). The Southwestern "B" team is in seventh place at 60-over par 636. UMHB's Cole MacMillan is the individual leader at 6-under par 138 and is three shots ahead of his teammate Cade Barone (3-under 141).
The Gents shot identical rounds of 28-over par 316 in both rounds on Monday and were led by junior Aubrey Snell (Shreveport, La.) who shot a 7-over par 151 and is in 15th place. Snell shot a 4-over par 76 in round one and a 3-over 75 in round two.
Senior Jeffrey Borchert (Katy, Texas) and freshman Trey Bishop (Oklahoma City, Okla.) are tied for 25th place at 14-over par 158. Borchert shot rounds of 79-79 and Bishop shot a 3-over 75 in round one followed by an 11-over 83 in round two. Freshman Mason Wiener (Holland, Pa.) shot a 21-over 165 (86-79) and is in 33rd place.
Senior Colton Mayer (Heath, Texas) is in 37th place after shooting a 34-over 178 (91-87) and senior Parker Christensen (Castle Rock, Colo.) is 39th at 51-over par 195 (93-102).
