Gents to Face Northland College On Senior Day

The Centenary lacrosse team will finish its season on Saturday at home as the Gents face the Northland College LumberJacks on Senior Day in a contest set for 1 p.m. at Atkins Field.

Shreveport - The Centenary lacrosse team will finish its season on Saturday at home as the Gents face the Northland College LumberJacks on Senior Day in a contest set for 1 p.m. at Atkins Field.

The Gents (4-6) return to action for the first time since flexing their offensive muscles in a 20-3 victory over the East Texas Baptist University Tigers at home on April 9. The Jacks (0-6) are winless on the season and also 0-4 on the road.

The Gents, who have featured a powerful and consistent offense all season, are averaging nearly 14 goals per game and have scored 134 on the season. Centenary has tallied 77 assists and 211 total points.

Four Gents have scored 20+ goals led by 30 from freshman A Gamble Harvill (Bossier City, La.). Sophomore M Ethan Hewett (Bossier City, La.) is second on the team with 27, senior A G'Colby Spivey (Dallas, Texas) is next with 25, and senior M Jordan Cook (Bryant, Ark.) has scored 23 goals.

Sophomore A Gibson Harvill (Bossier, City, La.) has scored 18 and freshman A/M Connor Shaver (Leander, Texas) has eight. Cook is the team leader in assists (21) and he and Spivey are tied for the team lead in points with 44.

Gibson Harvill has tallied 13 assists and 31 points, Hewett has eight assists, Shaver six, and Gamble Harvill has five. Senior GK Dylan Miller (Shreveport, La.) has started all 10 games and has made 162 saves.

Northland, a fellow division III three, is located in Ashland, Wisc. This will be the first meeting between the two schools.

Centenary will honor its 2025 season class - D Kaleb Coates (Shreveport, La.) Jordan Cook, Dylan Miller, and G'Colby Spivey in a pregame ceremony at approximately 12:45 p.m.
