Lacrosse Aims To Continue Winning Streak On Saturday At Hendrix

The Gents (4-4) went undefeated last weekend on the road as they notched impressive wins over Wilmington College and Spalding University, defeating Wilmington 24-11 last Saturday in Wilmington, Ohio and capped the impressive weekend with a 21-16 victory over Spalding in Louisville, Ky. on Sunday.
The Warriors (2-6) have lost two games in a row and are 1-1 at home this season. Hendrix defeated Centenary 20-7 in Shreveport last season.
Freshman A Gamble Harvill (Bossier City, La.) scored 10 goals in the two games, sophomore M Ethan Hewett (Bossier City, La.) and senior A G'Colby Spivey (Dallas, Texas) each scored nine, and senior M Jordan Cook (Bryant, Ark.) finished with eight. Sophomore A Gibson Harvill (Bossier, City, La.) scored five times, freshman A/M Connor Shaver (Leander, Texas) added three, and senior MF Chris Masterson (Zachary, La.) scored one.
Cook led the way in assists with 10, Spivey and Shaver each had five, Gamble Harvill and Gibson Harvill each had four Hewett had three, and freshman D Landon Mosley (Shreveport, La.) had two. Senior GK Dylan Miller (Shreveport, La.) went the distance in goal last weekend and recorded 17 saves and now has 128 this season.
Centenary has scored 116 goals this season along with 65 assists for a total of 181 points. The Gents are averaging 14.5 goals per game and boast five players who have scored double-digit goals and nine players have scored at least one goal this season. Ten players have tallied at least one assist and eight players have at least one goal and one assist.
Gamble Harvill leads the team in goals with 25, Cook's 19 assists are tops on the team, and Cook leads in points with 41.
