Ladies Set To Compete In 2026 Windy City Invite

Chicago - The Centenary gymnastics team will compete in the 2026 Windy City Invite on Friday night at 7 PM inside Navy Pier Festival Hall.
The Ladies, who opened their season last Sunday with a third-place finish in the Bulldog Invitational in Nashville, Tenn., will face Fisk University, Illinois State University, SEMO (Southeast Missouri State University), and Wilberforce University on Friday night.
Centenary earned a team score of 182.500 last Sunday against host Fisk, Wilberforce, and Greenville University. The Ladies' top event score of the meet was a 46.875 on vault followed by a 46.575 on floor, a 45.600 on beam, and a 43.450 on bars.
Junior Olivia Williams (Cape Coral, Fla.) and senior Amy Foret (Bedford, Texas) each recorded an impressive 9.675 on floor to tie for second as they were the Ladies' best individual score of the meet.
Junior Hayden Cagle (Austin, Texas) earned a new career-high 9.475 on beam to finish fifth, Foret had a 9.35 on beam to place sixth, and sophomore Anna Ichiba (Murphy, Texas) made her debut on floor and scored a 9.375 and junior Brooke Murdock (Garland, Texas) had a 9.35.
Foret had the Ladies' best score on vault (9.525) to finish third, sophomore Peyton Burford (West Monroe, La.) was next with a 9.40, Flores had a 9.375, and freshman Nyah Washington (Farmington, Minn.) scored a 9.35 in her collegiate debut.
Centenary will face Illinois State on Sunday at 2 PM in Normal, Ill. to wrap up a busy weekend in the Midwest.
