Skyla Cruz And Amy Foret Earn Career Highs To Advance To Finals Of WCGNI Championships
Sophomore Skyla Cruz (El Paso, Texas) and senior Amy Foret (Bedford, Texas) each earned a career-high 9.825 on beam on Friday as the duo advanced to Sunday's individual Finals of the 2026 Women's Collegiate Gymnastics National Invitational Championships inside Hollinger Field House on the campus of West Chester University.
West Chester, Pa. – Sophomore Skyla Cruz (El Paso, Texas) and senior Amy Foret (Bedford, Texas) each earned a career-high 9.825 on beam on Friday as the duo advanced to Sunday's individual Finals of the 2026 Women's Collegiate Gymnastics National Invitational Championships inside Hollinger Field House on the campus of West Chester University.

Cruz and Foret were two of five Ladies who competed on Friday as they were joined by senior Claire Flores (Oklahoma City, Okla.), sophomore Anna Ichiba (Murphy, Texas), and junior Olivia Williams (Cape Coral, Fla.). Each of the five Centenary gymnasts were determined by their National Qualifying Score (NQS) in respective events. Cruz qualified on beam, Foret on beam, floor, and Vault, Flores on floor and vault, Ichiba on beam, and Williams on floor. Cruz was making her debut at nationals and Foret is competing for the fourth time.
For the individual competitors, the top five individual scores on each event from each session have advanced to the individual finals on Sunday, March 29 at 1 p.m. Cruz and Foret tied for third place on beam.
