Ladies Post Season Best Score In Home Victory Over Greenville
The Centenary gymnastics team posted a season-high team score of 190.100 to defeat the Greenville University Panthers on Friday evening in a dual meet and the Ladies’ home opener inside the Gold Dome.

The Panthers finished with a team score of 189.400. Centenary's score was its best since a 192.175 on Senior Night last season against Fisk University.
The Ladies were back in action for the first time since they wrapped up a busy weekend in the Midwest on Sunday, Jan. 18 with a second-place finish against Illinois State University in Normal, Ill. Centenary's previous high score this season was a 185.700 in the 2026 Windy City Invite on Jan. 16 in Chicago.
Centenary finished with the following event scores on Friday, all of which were season bests:
BARS: 46.150
BEAM: 47.950
FLOOR: 48.450
VAULT: 47.550
The Ladies' score on floor is the highest in head coach Meg Crowley's four seasons at the helm of the program. Centenary set seven career highs on Friday and eight season highs were either set or tied on a very successful evening.
Junior Olivia Williams (Cape Coral, Fla.) had an impressive meet as she won on bars with a career-high 9.70 and was runner-up on floor with a season-best 9.75. Sophomore Skyla Cruz (El Paso, Texas) continued the strong start to her season as she won on beam with a career-high 9.80 marking the first for Cruz in her young career.
Sophomore Anna Ichiba (Murphy, Texas) finished third on vault with a career high 9.625, fourth on beam with a 9.70, and was seventh on floor with a career-best 9.575. Senior Amy Foret (Bedford, Texas) had an impressive night with a season-high 9.725 on floor to tie for third and recorded season-high 9.625 on beam to finish sixth and tied her season-high on vault (9.55) to finish fourth.
Senior Claire Flores (Oklahoma City, Okla.) also had a sensational night as she finished in a tie with Foret for third on floor with a career-high 9.725, finished second on bars with a season-high 9.65 and seventh on vault with a season-high 9.475.
Sophomore Olivia Montgomery (Willard, Mo.) scored a season-high 9.50 on vault to finish fifth, junior Brooke Murdock (Garland, Texas) earned a career-high 9.675 on floor to finish fifth, sophomore Chloe Gilbert (Pflugerville, Texas) had a season-high 9.45 on beam to place 10th, sophomore Peyton Burford (West Monroe, La.) was eighth on vault with a 9.40, and freshman Nyah Washington (Farmington, Minn.) had a career-high 9.475 on floor to finish eighth and tied for fourth on bars with a 9.375.
Greenville's Amara Nelson won on vault with a 9.75 and her teammate Reese Clapper was second with a 9.65. Emily Gilmer won on floor (9.775), Nelson's third-place finish on bars was the Panthers' best in the event, and she tied Cruz for first on beam with a 9.80. Nelson posted a 38.725 in the All-Around.
