Anchorage, Alaska – The Centenary gymnastics team posted a team score of 188.125 on Friday night to finish second against the host University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolves in a non-conference dual meet inside the Alaska Airlines Center.

Alaska Anchorage won the meet with a team score of 192.125. The Ladies and Seawolves were meeting for the first time since the 2024 season when they competed twice in Shreveport and for the first time in Anchorage since the 2022 season.
The Ladies are 79th in this week's Road to Nationals rankings while the Seawolves check in at 71st. Alaska Anchorage is a division 1 program that competes in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.
Centenary's best score of the meet came on floor (47.825) followed by a 47.625 on vault, a 46.875 on beam, and a 45.800 on bars. Alaska Anchorage posted a 48.325 on beam, a 48.100 on bars, a 47.875 on floor, and a 47.825 on vault.
Freshman Leila Dunlavy (Twin Falls, Idaho) had a season-best 9.625 on vault to finish second, senior Amy Foret (Bedford, Texas) finished fourth with a 9.575, and senior Claire Flores (Oklahoma City, Okla.) earned a 9.55 and finished sixth.
Sophomore Peyton Burford (West Monroe, La.) finished ninth on vault with a 9.475 and sophomore Anna Ichiba (Murphy, Texas) was 10th with a 9.40.
Sophomore Skyla Cruz (El Paso, Texas) had a 9.70 on beam, her second-highest score of the season, to finish third and Foret tied for fourth place with a 9.675 to tie her season high set last week. Ichiba had a 9.55 to tie for seventh.
Foret and junior Olivia Williams (Cape Coral, Fla.) tied for second place on floor (9.70), Ichiba was fifth with a season-high 9.60, and freshman Nyah Washington (Farmington, Minn.) finished eighth with a 9.45.
Senior Olivia Stratmann (Houston, Texas) had a season-high 9.50 on bars to finish fifth and led the Ladies in the event.
