Whittier, Calif. – The Centenary baseball team finished its season-opening trip to the West Coast on a strong note as the Diamond Gents defeated the Whittier College Poets 13-5 at Mendez Stadium.
The Diamond Gents (2-2) are back on the field next weekend as they begin Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play against Schreiner University Feb. 13-14 in Kerrville, Texas.
