Ladies Post Season High Score On Saturday At Home
The Centenary gymnastics team recorded a season-high 189.00 on Saturday evening as the Ladies finished second to the Texas Woman's University Pioneers in a Midwest Independent Conference dual meet inside the Gold Dome.
Shreveport – The Centenary gymnastics team recorded a season-high 189.00 on Saturday evening as the Ladies finished second to the Texas Woman's University Pioneers in a Midwest Independent Conference dual meet inside the Gold Dome.
Saturday was a special evening for the Ladies' program as it was the annual Alumnae Meet/Sylvia Keiter Memorial Meet. The Ladies ralso posted season highs on both bars (47.800) and beam (46.650) on Saturday.
Junior Claire Flores (Oklahoma City, Okla.) scored a season and career-high 9.775 on bars to earn a tie for second place, senior Emma Lavelle (Mandeville, La.) scored season highs on bars (9.50) and beam (9.60), and senior Sophie Schmitz (Trophy Club, Texas) tied her season high on bars (9.675),
Junior Amy Foret (Bedford, Texas) tallied a season-high 9.575 on beam, sophomore Cecilia Paredes (Rockwall, Texas) posted a season and career high 9.575 on floor, and freshman Erin Pinder (Bridgetown Barbados) had a season and career-high 9.60 on bars.
Centenary is back on the road next weekend to face host Illinois State University, Central Michigan University, and Bowling Green University in a quad meet in Normal, Ill. on Frdiay at 7 p.m.
