JACKSON, Miss. �- Sophomore Greg Berthelot (86-73, 159) shot a 73 in the final day at the Jackson State Pizza Hut/Bell South Invitational, but it wasn't enough for Centenary, (332-310, 642) as it finished sixth and 48 strokes behind first place North Alabama (304-290, 592).
Freshman Denver Green (82-78) finished a stroke behind Berthelot and tied for 23rd after shooting a two-day 160. Tyler Williams (82-79, 161), meanwhile, tied for 26th and John Hogan (82-80, 160) finished just one behind Williams.
The final golfer for Centenary was Nick Faitz (86-89, 175), who placed in 37th after he shot a 31 over par for the tournament.
The Gents will next see action on April 6-7 in the Hal Sutton Invitational at Stonebridge in Bossier City.
