Gents Basketball Star Quentin Beverly Achieves 1,000 Career Points On Sunday
Senior G Quentin Beverly (Katy, Texas) eclipsed 1,000 career points on Sunday afternoon with 27 against the Schreiner University Mountaineers in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest in Kerrville, Texas.
Shreveport - Senior G Quentin Beverly (Katy, Texas) eclipsed 1,000 career points on Sunday afternoon with 27 against the Schreiner University Mountaineers in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest in Kerrville, Texas.
Beverly becomes just the 37th Gent to score 1,000 or more career points in the 102 years of Centenary men's basketball. He led all scorers on Sunday after scoring 30 on Friday night in a 94-89 over McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. Beverly reached double figures for the 11th game in a row as he has scored 20+ points five times this season and now has four 30-point games in his career. Beverly now has 1,010 career points, is averaging 18.1 PPG this season, and 12.0 for his career.
